| About Me |

When I sit back and look at my life, it feels average. I was born and raised in a small town in Florida, named Plant City. I graduated high school, and went to University of Florida. Well let’s just say that didn’t work out too well and I found myself joining the Air Force. In 2005, I was medically retired from the Air Force and in 2007, I was able to come back to work as a civilian employee. It took twelve years after I graduated high school, but I finally received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management in 2008. I have a “day” job working (and no it doesn’t have anything to do with Human Resources) for the Air Force that pays the bills and funds my hobbies that I can share with ya’ll. I also have a photography business and T-shirt & design business. I have a hard time sitting idle. I am married to my “calm” of my storm. He keeps me centered and makes sure I keep everything honed in.

I always say I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I feel like I will try anything, but I always strive to do everything a little better; maybe my perfectionism coming out. I love to craft, travel, photograph anything and everything, indulge in food and drink, and create memories with my family; but most of all I love sharing about my experiences. I love helping others & feel this is my way to share and help others.

I will warn you now; I do not fit in a box. I choose to not have a niche…as that bores me. My mind wanders just as much as my body does. The only thing I am consistent about is my inconsistency. I hope you visit my blog for what interests you!

In 2019, I had a going away because I was moving to a new office…at my luncheon, a friend said this is So Sarah (in reference to the restaurant). I had already started revamping my photography blog starting back in May of 2019, but thought the name was a little clunky and complicated. So this here is how “So Sarah” was born! I want to share with you things that make me excited. When I get on a roll talking about photography, decorating, fashion, travel, wine, cheese, great deals, and DIY projects, to name a few, I could go on forever. I hope you come visit me, create something, laugh with me, and learn that you can find beauty and excitement in everyday events. Come join me, prop your feet up, grab a glass of wine and stay for a while, because you know I will.
