| About Me |

When I sit back and look at my life, it feels average. I was born and raised in a small town in Florida, named Plant City. I graduated high school, and went to University of Florida. Well let’s just say that didn’t work out too well and I found myself joining the Air Force. In 2005, I was medically retired from the Air Force and in 2007, I was able to come back to work as a civilian employee. It took twelve years after I graduated high school, but I finally received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management in 2008. I have a “day” job working (and no doesn’t have anything to do with Human Resources) for the Air Force that pays the bills and funds my hobbies that I can share with ya’ll. I also have a photography business and T-shirt & design business. I have a hard time sitting idle. I am married to my “calm” of my storm. He keeps me centered and makes sure I keep everything honed in. This is my second marriage (I won’t go into the details on the first); with that being said we are a blended family. He has a son and daughter and I have a son and daughter. We could be the Brady Bunch. The boys and Baylee are all juniors in college and the Isabel is a freshman in college. We started dating in May of 2006 and got married in April of 2008. If you are wondering about blended families, it is not easy! In the beginning it was harder, but through the years, certain things have become easier. All in all, we are a great party of 6! I always say I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I feel like I will try anything, but I always strive to do everything a little better; maybe my perfectionism coming out. I love to craft, travel, photograph anything and everything, indulge in food and drink, and create memories with my family; but most of all I love sharing about my experiences. I love helping others & feel this is my way to share and help others. In 2019, I had a going away because I was moving to a new office…at my luncheon, a friend said this is So Sarah (in reference to the restaurant). I had already started revamping my photography blog starting back in May of 2019, but thought the name was a little clunky and complicated. So this here is how “So Sarah” was born! I want to share with you things that make me excited. When I get on a roll talking about photography, decorating, fashion, travel, wine, cheese, great deals, and DIY projects, to name a few, I could go on forever. I hope you come visit me, create something, laugh with me, and learn that you can find beauty and excitement in everyday events. Come join me, prop your feet up, grab a glass of wine and stay for a while, because you know I will.
